Description

Secure panels, trims and heavier fixing work with Soudal Fix ALL High Tack White 290ml. This strong hybrid polymer adhesive and sealant is designed for jobs where high initial grab, strong final hold and reliable bonding matter.

What Is Soudal Fix ALL High Tack Best For?

Soudal Fix ALL High Tack is best suited to fixing jobs where a stronger initial hold is needed. It can bond to both porous and non porous surfaces, making it suitable for bathroom wall panels, trims, skirting boards, decorative mouldings and other common building materials.

The high tack formula helps hold materials in place quickly after application, which can be useful when working with heavier items or areas where extra grab is helpful. It bonds and seals at the same time, giving a strong finish for indoor and outdoor projects.

Its flexible hybrid polymer formula helps absorb slight movement after curing. This makes it suitable for humid spaces such as bathrooms, shower rooms and kitchens, where moisture and movement can affect weaker adhesives over time.

Soudal Fix ALL High Tack can also be used on damp surfaces and contains XS1 fungicide to help resist mould growth. This makes it a practical choice for sanitary bonding, sealing and demanding fixing work around the home.

For best results when fitting bathroom panels, apply the adhesive in six inch circles across the rear of the panel before pressing it firmly onto the prepared wall surface.

Adhesive FAQs

What adhesive should I use for PVC bathroom wall panels?

We recommend using our ultra strong grab adhesive, which we use for installations ourselves.

Do I need both adhesive and sealant?

In most cases, yes. Adhesive is used to bond the panel to the wall, and sealant is used where a waterproof finish is needed.

Can I use silicone instead of adhesive?

We do not recommend using silicone instead of adhesive. Some installers do use it, but the product we recommend is an ultra strong grab adhesive, which we use for installations ourselves.

How many tubes of adhesive do I need per panel?

We recommend two tubes of adhesive per panel. This can vary depending on how flat the wall is. Uneven surfaces may require additional adhesive to achieve full contact. If you are unsure how much adhesive you need, contact our team and we will help you work it out.

How long should adhesive cure before using the shower?

As a general rule, you should allow around 24 hours before exposing the installation to water, unless the product instructions say otherwise.

Can panel adhesive be used on tiles?

Yes, provided the tiles are sound, clean and properly prepared before installation.

Can adhesive be used on plasterboard?

Yes, as long as the plasterboard is dry, secure and in good condition.

Why do you recommend a grab adhesive?

A strong grab adhesive helps achieve a secure bond and is the product we trust in our own installations.
